COBRA collector tells:

It is 1976. We are on our way to the airport, Børge is opening a new art exhibit on corneille. It is prepared and finished in style, not to be approached at once. We buy a picture, - but all the way to Mexico I was searching back and forth in my mind, my thoughts mixing themselves between Aztecan and Mexican pictures. Suddenly it is there, it comes to me, that picture by Corneille which it should have been.On the way home, once more through Admiral Street, it still clings there, and Børge says, "No problem". A couple of summers later Børge invites us to Læsø. "What would yoy like for dinner?", "Grand!.Børge started the green jeep on his way for young , manure-bred rooster. Despite Karie's warning, we make our way through a creek-like inlet. And then we get hopelessly stuck. The water stands up over the tires and the motor is dead. Ole and Karie jumps into the water, push and toss about, nothing helps. Børge fishes out his handkerchief and says, "dry off the sparkplugs". Thats it! We'll find our rooster and have a delicious evening meal. That was the beginning of a great friendship and a string of exhibit grand - openings, with Børge standing on the steps with open arms, talk and information about art, banquettes with Alechchinsky, Reinhoud, Leister, Walasse, Carl Henning and Børge as the Exuberant host, always in a good mood and humor.

Thank you Børge.
