Biography
Very early in his life, Lestíe began to paint and in his young years, he was inspired especially by George Brague. He was discovered at the Paris Biennale and soon had solo exhibitions in Paris, Copenhagen and New York which spreaded to many other countrys as well.
His approach to painting can be considered detailed, and many of his works includes the eluding and mystery horizon and his works considered a reflection on the critical dimension of painting.
Alain Lestíe has exhibited in Galerie Birch several times, the first was in 1974 followed by others in 76-83-2001, he is currently living and working in Cannes and in Paris.
